Superpowers
Omnipresence is the ability to be anywhere and everywhere at the same time. Who needs the talent of flying when you can be in any place within a matter of seconds? If I was a superhero, I would want to harness this power above all others. Not only could I save people from burning buildings, but at the same time, I could be in Africa handing out food and fresh water. I would be able to enjoy a fresh cup of tea on the terrace of a Paris coffee shop, and read books to children in New York City all in the same time slot. Flying, invisibility, and all other generic and overused superpowers are belittled by the superiority of omniscience and omnipresence. In a society that thrives on modern technology, you would think that superheroes would be updated as well. Most superpowers only have the capability of offering assistance to one person or one place at a time. However, I believe the phrase is "save the world" and not "save one person, fly a thousand miles, and then save one more".
